The long-term vitality and vibrancy of the American Society of Mammalogists depends upon the philanthropy of our members and others interested in supporting our programs of research, education, and outreach. Consequently, we gratefully acknowledge the generosity of those who make monetary contributions to the Society. African Research Fellowship
The African Research Fellowship funds grants to support mammalogical research by African graduate students.

ASM Fellowship Fund
The ASM Fellowship Fund supports the ASM Fellowship to an outstanding graduate student.

Future Mammalogists Fund

The Future Mammalogists Fund supports Grants-in-Aid of Research to support research by graduate students.  

Latin American Student Research Fund
Supports grants to support research by Latin American students.

ASM Annual Meeting Contributor
Individuals, organizations, or businesses that wish to provide donations ($100 or more) to support the conference will be recognized as a Contributor to the Annual Meeting of the ASM. This level does provide textual recognition in media releases, the meeting website, or program materials, but it does not provide other sponsor benefits.

General contributions to support activities of the ASM.

James L. Patton Award
Promotes and supports museum-based research by ASM graduate student members.  

Carol and Jim Patton Award
ASM offers the Carol and Jim Patton Awards to one outstanding graduate student from each of the affiliated mammal societies in Latin America.

Donald W. and Glennis A. Kaufman Research Award
Promotes and supports field-based ecological research by ASM graduate student members on native mammals in a globally endangered ecosystem (native grasslands) in the Great Plains and Canada Prairie Provinces.

Guy N. Cameron Award Fund
Supports graduate and postdoctoral research on the ecology or behavior of rodents native to the New World (North, Central, South America), with an emphasis on (1) field research or (2) laboratory research that supports or augments field research. 

Oliver P. Pearson Fund
Supports early-career professionals who hold an academic or curatorial position in Latin America
.


Sponsored Membership Fund
Supports ASM memberships for mammalogists in developing countries.

Mary Taylor Award for Diversity and Inclusive Excellence in Mammalogy 
Recognizes the impact of an individual or a team through contributions that promote and improve the accessibility, inclusivity, and diversity of our discipline or of our Society.

Black and Indigenous Scholars in Mammalogy Award
Supports Western Hemisphere scholars of Indigenous or Black/African American descent, promoting and facilitating their ability to pursue education or research goals in Mammalogy.
